2.1 Downloading
When starting a new project, the project team chooses the correct version of the SAP Commerce platform and provides it for team members. The DIY way to do this is to have S-User access and download it.
S-User
S-User, or SAP-user, is a unique identifier than allows you to log in to your SAP products, report an incident, download software, configure connections, etc. Your S-User ID contains the letter 'S' followed by a string of numbers (e.g. S0011068648).text
The S-User must have the right authorizations for downloading, otherwise they could end up with a situation such as that shown in Figure 2.2.

Once the required SAP Commerce framework is downloaded, you are ready to carry out installation.
Alternative ways to get the SAP Commerce version
Every member of the project team usually has access to the required SAP Commerce version, either on-premise or in the cloud. One common method today is to store the software in the cloud, such as AmazonS3, and download it as part of an initial script.

SAP Commerce is a product for the rapid development of the E-Commerce backend in the SAP series of products. It is set by graphic control such as product creation, shopping cart, inventory management, etc. SAP Commerce has the flexibility of product management, the diversity of channel support, and the timely processing of orders. The advantages of flexibility and system operation stability make the establishment of an e-commerce platform much easier. The book includes software download, installation, data creation, product set, price setting, inventory, shopping cart set, order management, etc., which are all explained in detail. Most pages also have other explanation tips, which are convenient for readers to install and set the place to be noted in the process to avoid errors. For an SAP Commerce beginner, this will be a quick start book, allowing readers to build the SAP Commerce back-end architecture very quickly.K. Petkov

First Steps in SAP Commerce Cloud is well balanced and up to the point book. With many practical examples it will be of great help to the new practitioners. I would like also to recommend the book to solutioners or architects because the book describes technical requirements, and solution capabilities.D. Kamenski

A brilliant introduction to the world of SAP Commerce Cloud! The book is a robust practical guide that can add exceptional value not only for a developer but also for business and technical analysts (especially for those who have a penchant for understanding the 'technical side' of the solution). I do highly recommend this book - it is useful both for beginners and as a reference guide for professionals who already have acquired knowledge implementing SAP Commerce Cloud.
